Malachi
The feral husky puppy who ultimately led me to uncovering my passion for dog training
-
cJ
My childhood dog who introduced me to remarkable friendship of a dog
-
maya
Maya was surrendered to me at the beginning of my career with OLK9 due to severe resource guarding aggression that lead to the death of another dog. Maya challenged me to learn more about this type of behavior and I was able to successfully rehabilitate her. She now lives with a trusted client with children & another dog.
-
Boo
Boo was surrendered to me during the middle of my career with OLK9. Boo had severe aggression that had led to multiple bites on his owners. Boo challenged me to further my understanding on canine psychology. Boo was successfully rehabilitated and he opened major doors for me. Boo was my first real working dog. I fully tasked trained Boo as a service dog where he assisted me with a medical disability for two years. Boo is now retired from his service dog duties and is an active and fully trained personal protection dog.

Stella
You will likely see Stella out working with me as she is my main demo dog these days. Stella is my first Belgian Malinois. She has challenged everything I thought I knew about dog training and has taken my skills to the next level. Stella is an active personal protection dog. We spend our free time training for Protection Sports . She just recently earned her PDC (Protection Dog Certificate) at a trial in Texas.

Casper
You’ll most likely hear me talk about my “Rainbow Tail Dog”. This is who I’m referring to when I say that. In 2022, I had been talking about how I wanted an all white dog to train as a Therapy Dog. I specifically wanted the dog to be solid white so that I could dye their fur fun colors to spread joy. One week before my wedding, I find this guy wandering on the side of I530. To this day, I still say that he is my wedding gift from God. Capser fits the bill for a Therapy Dog perfectly. He is the clown of our household. He is loaded with personality, always happy, gentle, and the biggest goober that I know.
-
crux
Pronounced “Crew” - short for Cruxifiction. Crux is a half sister to Stella and is our youngest pack member. She was conceived around Easter, hence the name. Crux is being raised as another personal protection dog. I had the opportunity of whelping and raising Crux from birth. As the only puppy born to the litter, she has already taught me so much!
-
Jackson
Jackson was another dog who was surrendered to me during my time with OLK9 due to severe human aggression. Jackson had a long bite record and was one of the most challenging rehabilitation cases that I have ever worked. Jackson lived with me for 3 years before he was fully rehabilitated and accepting new people. He now lives with a trusted friend and enjoys frequent social outings as her demo dog.
-
taz
This is my husbands dog, but he still taught me a lot. Taz was our open door to using dogs to herd livestock and now one of the most trusted members of our pack. Taz is an all around stable dog and one of our most trusted teachers for young puppies.

zip
Zip is also my husband’s dog but I have also learned a lot from her. Zip is our first dog that was specifically bred for herding livestock. She has a natural desire to herd and is an absolute treat to watch work!
