Training that lasts takes time and commitment. Don’t have time to do the training yourself? Let us do the training for you. Once your dog is trained, we will complete a series of owner training lessons to ensure that you and your dog are on the same page!

TRAINING MAKES THEIR WORLD BIGGER.

frequently asked questions

  • Your dog will stay in the home of your assigned trainer. The owner will receive frequent updates to their mobile device consisting of photos/videos and a progress report of how your dog is progressing with training!

  • Every boarding dog that comes into our program is required to wear a FI GPS tracking collar throughout their entire stay. Food/water intake are monitored daily, as well as bowel movements to ensure there are no signs of stress.

  • Making sure that the owner is trained is critical to ensure that training transitions from trainer to owner.

On the day that you pick your dog up from training, you will spend 2-3 hours with your trainer and your dog to get hands-on training before taking your dog home. This is an intensive day where you will receive lots of brand new information about your dog and their new skills!

After the initial turnover, we will schedule 3 follow up sessions with you & your dog. These sessions must be completed within the first 90 days of training. This is to ensure that the training is transitioning properly and the details of your dog’s training are engrained in your memory!

  • We offer life-time training support with the purchase of a board & train. Training support includes phone support and/or an in-person, private session with your trainer at our facility.

  • The Board & Train Programs are designed for dogs of 6 months of age and older.

We require all dogs to be up to date on vaccines, rabies, Bordetella, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention.

  • Absolutely! You can talk with your trainer to discuss any goal you have in advancing your dog’s training. From there, your trainer can help fit you and your dog into the right program to meet those goals!

BOARD & TRAIN OPTIONS

on leash board & train

  • This program is ideal for owners who spend most of their time at home with their dogs, but also enjoy some dog-friendly outings as well.

In this program, your dog will learn to perform select obedience behaviors off leash within the home. This is so that you can effectively manage your dog off leash inside of your house or in your yard.

Your dog will also take some field trips during training to learn impulse control around real life distractions in dog friendly areas! During these outings, your dog will remain on a leash and will not learn any off leash obedience behaviors.

If you would like for your dog to be 100% off leash reliable in any environment, check out our Off Leash Board & Train.
